Three panel comic featuring the presidents of the United States.
Panel 1: Thomas Jefferson enters with the Declaration of Independence and says "Here's to the semiquincentennial!" Abraham Lincoln says "Happy 250th Birthday, America. You look like you haven't aged since 1861."
Panel 2: James Madison says "These colors don't run!" First term Grover Cleveland, second term Grover Cleveland, and Warren G. Harding say, respectively "Mountain majesties: Purple." "Waves of Grain: Amber." "Reflecting pools: Green."
Panel 3: Jefferson says "Look! Washington got new dentures for the occasion!" Washington, with weird teeth that spell out "250," says "They're made from the teeth of ICE protestors." Franklin Roosevelt says "Gross." Andrew Jackson says "resourceful!"

A Presidential Visit

The cast page is now up so you can meet the presidents of Two Party Opera!

Personally, I love the presidents (yes, all of them, in my own ways) but when I started drawing the characters, I was surprised by how many people had a favorite as well. The usual suspects were all there – Washington, Lincoln, FDR. But every now and again, I would get someone to say Grant or Jackson. Always ready to talk about our Commanders in Chief, it started great conversations such as why I think Grant is one of the most underrated presidents or why I think Andrew Jackson was a demagogic war criminal. Fun times!

Have a look and visit them for yourself. Perhaps you’re stopping by to check in with your favorite, or a favorite you haven’t discovered yet! Even better, have one you thought was pretty great knocked down a couple pegs.
