Despite the fact that there hasn't been any commercial aviation deaths in the last few years nor any new regulations on commercial aviation safety standards this year, Trump took credit for this being the "best and safest year on record." All well and good! By the same standard, we should really start to reevaluate some of the less popular presidents in history - they apparently did a lot to make sure things that hadn't been problems in the years leading up to their administration stayed non-problems.
Did you know that there were zero Hoover Dam construction deaths during George W. Bush's time in office? No one talks about that.
