Happy Birthday to Abraham Lincoln!
The "A for Assassination" folder was real and contained some 80 different death threats that he collected against himself once the staff stopped outright burning them. These, of course, don't include the barrage of normal hate mail that the White House was getting on a regular basis and the baskets of poisoned fruits sent from his friends in the South. Lincoln, for all that he's sanctified today as a boy scout, had a sick sense of humor.
