Today's comic is loosely adapted from my sheer amusement of watching Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, explain on national television why the proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum are nothing to worry about by holding up a soup can. Is anyone really going to worry about that extra six-tenths of a cent for each canned good, he asks? Is anyone going to explain to Secretary Ross that there are a lot of other goods made from steel and aluminum that are substantially more expensive than a can of Coke, I ask?
